Stochasic Chaikin’s Volatility


Analyzing the behavior of Chaikin’s Volatility index I was wondering how it should behave in a modified version, following J.Ehlers suggestions, applying a stochasticization process to it, so this is the result.

Sure now it does not have much to do with the original one but it seems interesting and I would like to share it.

How to install Stochasic Chaikin’s Volatility.mq4?

  • Download Stochasic Chaikin’s Volatility.mq4
  • Copy Stochasic Chaikin’s Volatility.mq4 to your Metatrader Directory / experts / indicators /
  • Start or restart your Metatrader Client
  • Select Chart and Timeframe where you want to test your indicator
  • Search “Custom Indicators” in your Navigator mostly left in your Metatrader Client
  • Right click on Stochasic Chaikin’s Volatility.mq4
  • Attach to a chart
  • Modify settings or press ok
  • Indicator Stochasic Chaikin’s Volatility.mq4 is available on your Chart

How to remove Stochasic Chaikin’s Volatility.mq4 from your Metatrader 4 Chart?

  • Select the Chart where is the Indicator running in your Metatrader Client
  • Right click into the Chart
  • “Indicators list”
  • Select the Indicator and delete
